I ordered these to use for handwriting practice for my virtual home schooler. Good for a 4 year old to grip. I wish that they had come sharpened as it it very time consuming to sharpen at home with a plastic sharpener.

Our kindergarten teachers use these pencils for their handwriting lessons. I give these pencils out at Kindergarten screening so that the parents can see what will be used in the classroom and to let the children get used to using this type of pencil. This pencil encourages the child to hold it correctly. And a plus, the pencil will not roll off of the desk/table when set down!

These fantastic pencils only need to be sharpened once a week. I love these! They also don't roll around. Anybody can use these. Not just for preschoolers.
