I purchase The American Heritage children's Dictionary for my children because I wanted them to not only know how to spell words but also know the meaning of them since I have purchase the dictionary for them they are using it to help them spell words and they also like that some of the words have pictures by them and I have noticed a improvement with them spelling words on there own.
