My 2nd through 5th grade ELL students enjoy the format and are adding and additional part to the Synonyms section (they added antonyms). Easy for my 48 students to do and keep in a secure place.

My young niece had this vocabulary journal for school. She was very excited to show me words she had learned and read me sentences that went with the words and the pictures she had drawn. I bought this book for myself to use with my reading when I come upon new or seldom used words. I wanted to have all words in one place. Plenty of room to put lots of information, if desired. I have added, for myself, the location of where I came across the word. Only wish they sold these at the store and did not have to be ordered online! I will be ordering more in the future for my grandchildren. They are currently a bit young. For second or third grade and up?!

We are loving this notebook. We do one word per day and it really makes my kids think about the word and the meaning. Good price too!

Perfect for introducing new vocabulary words

I homeschool my twin boys who both have awful penmanship. When they would try to study their vocabulary words from the spiral they wrote them in, they couldn't read it well enough to study. It was a mess. I found these which keep everything neatly in place. The penmanship is still bad, but the word stands alone making it easier - the synonyms stand alone also and the definition has it's own place. It's simply neater and not so overwhelming to look back at for study purposes. I LOVE THEM!
