My students love practicing making sight words with these puzzles. The only problem for the bigger words is it is difficult to fit the pieces back in the bag. I log that they are background and color-coded. It makes it easy to clean up.

My students had gotten bored with the flash cards. Now they get so excited when it's time to practice sight words. They are really really improving!!!

My K students use these at an independent center or as a choice for early finishers. Each level box comes with four clear vinyl pouches inside that seal with a hook-and-loop dot. In each pouch are five sight word puzzles with the same color letters (i.e. the pouch with 5 red boat puzzles has red letters on dark blue ocean, and in the same box, the pouch with the 5 green boat puzzles has green letters on dark blue ocean background). I can have multiple students using pouches from different boxes (airplanes, trucks, and boats) and they can clean-up the letter pieces to the correct pouch independently. No misplaced letters. It's awesome.
