The covers are very attractive and appealing. The stories are simple, yet meaningful. A child can easily relate to the subject matter in each book. It was nice to see children of more than one race and people of more than one age group in the readers. The books are just the right size for small hands to hold and have just the right amount of pages to match the attention span of a young reader.
