This is a great set to introduce to early readers. We start working with sight words in the second semester. Children are able to see simple sentence structure with one to one correspondence. The word cards are double sded with a picture to help with learning.

These sentence frames with visual cues are fantastic for our multilingual students. They help students get started on their writing and students feel successful in both their writing completion and their ability to read their writing due to the sight word and cvc structure of the sentence frames.

This product helped my scholars increase sight word recognition and fluency. My scholars were also engaged and had fun.

I used this activity for the students in my high group. The students knew the sight words but needed to learn how to read them in a sentence. Great if your child knows or is learning basic sight words. Excellent for promoting and practicing fluency. You can interchange the cards with your own but there are plenty to keep your child busy. The stands are high quality wood. Highly recommend.

Love this! My kids are so thrill that they are able to create and read a sentence. They enjoy helping others do it too. they also learn verbs and nouns using this product.

My son loves creating sentences with this center! I'm giving it four stars because I wish it included more plurals (objects and sentences). I added sentences on the back of the sentence strips (e.g., for the sentence: Is this ____ from you? on the back I added: Are these _____ from you?). However, it does not work as well as I wish because most of the picture objects are in the singular. I would buy more objects in the plural separately if Lakeshore made them!
