My students love these Readers' Theater activities! They are perfectfor independent work stations. They are sturdy and well-made, and the text is grade level appropriate and interesting!

These Reader's Theatre Scripts are exactly what I was looking for to help my students with fluency practice! They are very durable and brightly colors. I put the kids in groups of 4 and they have a couple of days to plan and practice their play. On the performance day, the kids bring costumes and hand made supplies to help them act out their skit. After doing several of these throughout the school year (I have some of the other script boxes too), the kids become experts and their fluency definitely improves! Great product!!

The scripts are sturdy. It is difficult for first grade learners to actually use these because unless they are above grade level it requires a lot of teacher directed help.

These plays are great for practicing reading with expression in small groups. If you are using these with struggling readers, make sure to get the grade appropriate box, as well as the grade levels below. The plays are cute and keep kids entertained.
