My 4 year old knows his letter sounds but isn't reading yet. These puzzles allowed him to sound out words and see how words are built. It gave him more confidence and made reading fun! Set includes: bat, bus, fox, hen, bug, dog, hat, jet, pig, bed, cat, gum, map, win, top, sun.

My students love building the words! This is great for engaging the learners.

This is a great entry-level puzzle for 2 and 3 years old. The material is very thick and hard to break.

These are wonderful for my very early reader (3yr old). The pictures are great and I love that that font is large.

This item has been a great tool prior to introducing CVC words to my kindergarten students early on in the school year. They get lots of exposure and are able to make connections before the skill is taught making mastery that much easier!

My only disappointment is that the pieces are too thin which makes it difficult for little fingers to push them into place without bending. The pieces will be distorted or ripped after a few uses. Make them thicker and they will still fit in the same box.

These puzzles are colorful and well made. Students love putting these together and it’s great practice for beginning readers.

Great for my 3 year old who is learning her sounds. They are very sturdy and colorful. She loves to put her puzzles together.

I have two sons that have enjoyed these simple puzzles for many years. The puzzles are very durable and have withstood lots of play. When my older son was beginning to read, my younger son would assemble to puzzle and cover the pictures to see if he knew what the word was. He would then lift his hand to show him the image. I loved that they both were able to play with this together, at their own developmental level. I now nanny and it is still a go-to puzzle activity (I have used for ages 2-6). You can make it harder by pulling out more pieces, or easier by only displaying 3 at a time.

So durable! These puzzles will stand up to Kindergarteners:)
