I love the twist and turn 3 letter word builders, I use them during my small group instruction and they are a fun way for students to develop their phonics skills. They are hands-on and students fully engaged in their learning.

My 6 year old grandson hates it. My grandson is very smart and does great in school. I thought this purchase was a good idea. My grandson said: this purchase was a bad idea.

I highly recommend this product. My students love these. Easy to assess CVC abilities and the students love them. Also, a no prep center!

I'm looking forward to using the Word Builder set to introduce CVC words, short vowels in the medial position, and consonants in the beginning and end positions. I gave the Twist and Turn 3-letter Word Builders a 4-Star rating instead of 5 because many of the letter combinations create a nonsense word rather than a real CVC word. Nice handheld size, good colors!

These are great for practice reading three letter words. I give my kindergarteners a paper with two columns: real words and nonsense words. They have to decide where to write each word. Super fun to use! Very durable! The only negative is that two of the builders have the letter r for the last letter. My kinders are not ready for r-controlled vowels. But it was an easy fix - I used a sharpie to change the r to n. Other than that, this product is perfect!

My students love these! I put them in a center and have them make and write words.

I have success using these with my toddler at home and my first graders in the classroom. I love the lowercase letters, very modern and easy to read.

I am so excited to have these to use with my students! They can be used alone or I had the idea to extend the learning and have the students read the word then write it down. I love these!

I was really disappointed that on a majority of these, it was just a lot of nonsense words. I expected that to an extent, but I also think maybe I had a few with misprints. I thought these were supposed to be CVC words and I had a few with random ending vowels mixed in. I am not sure if I should return to try and get correct ones or if that is how they are supposed to be. I definitely wouldn't buy these again for the cost, but I did think it was a really cool idea before I got them. I was just disappointed.

I have activity bins the class uses after completing morning work. These are perfect for the early finishers. I found a recording sheet for Real and Nonsense words. The twisters are easy to spin and made off a durable plastic. Easy to clean with Lysol disinfectant. Love them

This product is an efficient way for students to practice word building in a literacy workstations.
