This is a fun and educational game. We have found many ways to play. But, we have been frustrated by the lack of b letter tiles. There are five picture tiles with words that start with the letter b (bat, bed, box, bug, and bus) as well as one that ends with the letter b (web), But there is only one letter b tile! If there were 3 b letter tiles, I would give it 5 stars.

My 2 1/2 year old grandson is just beginning to do 3 letter words. He will do it for a few minutes, but then wants to go on to something else. That is OKAY! He does that when a game challenges him. Stretch and reach is VERY important for all kids. He always comes back to it to show me what new 3 letter words he knows. He sounds out the letters and puts them up. Good for him!!!!!

I love this product for my 4 year-old. a few more duplicate letters would be great, but still a great product!

Great tool for blending and forming CVC words!! My students enjoy trying to match the letters/sounds to spell the name of the picture. Using color coded letters for beginning, medial, and ending sounds would be a great added feature!

This is a great supplementary product for any child who is learning how to read. My daughters are in the stage where they are learning how to sound out three letter words so this was perfect. It provided a great balance of words they were familiar with and could then figure out how to spell as well as words they had not yet learned and so were challenged. I highly recommend it and will be buying the four letter version when we conquer this one!

the product is good, but when you have two magnetic boards, you'll be needing more alphabets

First of all, it feels sturdy, which is definitely a plus. The magnets stick well also, and are a good size for his fingers to grab. But we really need more letters. I would have gladly changed some of the pictures for more letters. My son does not like having to take letters from the previous words on the board to reuse for the last word; it is necessary to do this very often. He wants it to look complete, and I kinda don't blame him. I could try to pick words that don't overlap, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do that; besides, he likes to pick the words himself. All in all, though, he does like it, and it does seem to be helping him learn, so I don't regret the purchase.

Love it great for learning words

My son can sit for about an hour doing this. Its really helped with recognizing sounds and he has so much fun when he gets them right. Really well made, and there are a lot of tiles to keep him going.
