This product is the best of all the products I have bought in Lakeshore. The texture is a plus. Very durable and resistant to water. Just keep an eye on your kid because the pieces are small. The price is a little high but it is worth the price. Perfect product, I'm more than in love.

These games are fun for my kids and they learn at the same time! My only suggestion would be to laminate the large cards so they last longer and don’t get bent.

This product is very hands on, which is one of the many reasons my child and I love it! My child was having trouble comprehending ending sounds, but is now able to tell me them because of this item.

My former PreK classroom had these and I knew they would be great for my own child who is now in PreK. Wish I had gotten them when she was 3 as the rhyming and beginning sounds are something she’s been doing for a while. Love the miniatures! We take out two cards and 10 or so minis and decide which go on her mat and which go on mine.

I bought this about 9 years ago, and still use it with my classes. For its purpose, it does a good job teaching rhyming and beginning sounds. The interesting and unintended part is that I have also used the manipulatives/toys included in the kit for teaching older grades (3rd-8th grade language arts). Kids love picking a manipulative and writing about it while applying the grammar or writing concept we are learning (ex: write a compound sentence about this rat; write a paragraph using sensory language about this queen). The toys/manipulatives are high quality and durable, as very few have broken in the past 9 years. Good use for preschool through eighth grade!

I love having objects for the kids to touch and feel as they think and learn. Connecting objects to concepts such as letters and sounds is great. My kids enjoy having something to touch, feel and play with while learning. Great way to teach! The objects in the boxes are great!
