This will be awesome to use when my son gets a little older to teach and reinforce beginning sounds. It’s nice to have it all put together and ready to go.

My daughter loves these. She is three. We have had them for almost a year and we are now sometimes using them as intended and she is beginning to get the, letter-sound associations but sometimes we just have fun playing with them because they are cute. The set is well made with the quality you would expect from Lakeshore.

My kindergartners love using this product. It is a fun hands-on way to get kids excited about practicing their phonemic awareness skills. So glad that I purchased it.

I was disappointed that this did not come with 26 activity mats for each letter and corresponding manipulatives. I just assumed it did. So it covers 10 letters not the entire alphabet. I should have paid attention to the description which said 30 manipulatives and 10 different activity mats.

What a fun little box! I will definitely be ordering the other two boxes in the set. Probably my favorite Lakeshore purchase to date.

This is such a fun and hands on way of learning beginning sounds. I wanted a way to work with my 5 year old twins on beginning sounds and this is it! They pick up each item and say the name! And it doesnt feel like work... it feels like playing!

PreK students love sorting through the small items, which engages them to attempt to recognize the beginning sounds when they otherwise wouldn't. A lot of times a student will start with one card they're trying to fill out, but will get excited by other items in the box and end up with multiple cards in front of them.

I am using this as a VPK teacher and I found that it is attractive and fun for the children. I wish it could include some other cards and objects starting with the letters K and X. It is a very nice way to initiate the identification of sounds using concrete materials...Perfect for hands-on learning!

Great Product for hands on learning. My active students stayed engaged. My only draw back with this product is the high cost.
