4 year old loves the story puppet!

This kit is great for students struggling with story retell. The characters provide visual prompts for them to help with retell and sequencing. I would give it 5 stars, but it doesn't have a piece for the goat and boy did my students notice and were not happy about it.

My son absolutely loves the little stuffed figures that come with the story telling kits from lakeshore learning. He has 5 or 6 different ones now and still plays with them every day which for him is unusual (short attention span) Im hoping to collect more of them but they have to be the older ones, he doesnt care for the newer ones for some reason. Probably because the newer ones are just a generic little stuffed pillow with a cheap printed picture on them. The older ones are made with some skill and have actual shape and colored fabric.

I love the puppet but I thought I would also be getting the book that goes with it. Its hard to use the puppet when you dont have the story book

A really great interactive way to explore a classic favorite. Having the little pieces for the story can open up your play for more moving around, treasure hunts, etc!

This is one of my favorite stories and I Love using this kit to tell it! The pieces are easy to use and the kids love to help put them in the woman's belly!!
