This product is well made and helps young readers visualize and retell the story. It’s great for reviewing colors and names of animals.

These cute manipulatives is a favorite with my ELL students for retelling this beloved story. It keeps them engaged in the story and gives them a lot of practice learning English color words and animals. I am finding them more willing to speak when they know the story and feel successful after a few tries. Now they are reading the story on their own!

As an SLP, I love using this story telling kit to target a variety of goals. These cute manipulatives help my young students stay engage in our lessons. I do think this kit used to be better before the white border was added to the animalsjust my opinion.

I recently bought this item and I am thrilled with it. The quality of the felt is top tier and my kids love interacting with the story. I work with preschools so this is always a fan favorite.

These weren't really what I was expecting, although that is my fault for not reading the description carefully. I thought these were pieces of felt that I could stick to my felt board. They're actually like little pillows with some Velcro on the back. I probably would not let my students use them long-term to retell stories, because the white part would show dirt after awhile. I used them to tell the story in a group lesson, and they were fine for that.

It's very cute; but the picture was misleading thinking the book came with it, so I had to buy it separately.
