We are considering including this kit in a new Transitional Kindergarten readiness program for the county. I love the quality of the toys and materials, the bears are big enough to not be choking hazards, the backpack makes everything look fun and inviting for kids. The preschool checklist is concise and helpful, the activities in the calendar are simple and straight forward. My favorite aspect of this kit is that the materials are open ended, so after the 3 months of activties are over they can still be used for all kinds of fun things. Also that blue thing is a ball, I originally thought it was a bowl for the counting bears, but it's a lightweight ball perfect for little hands.

I was expecting I little bit more, but love what we got. My granddaughter loves it

My son enjoyed connecting the blocks and he would say the colors out loud and how many they were. I think it was a good practice for him. I liked the activity because he would say the colors to me and count them or we would count together. One thing I didn't like is that they might be too small and we would lose them fast. Maybe if they were bigger we would find them faster. I would recommend making the shapes bigger for the kids and adding more to the pack because they run out because there's not that many in there.

We completed an 11 week pilot on teacher child interaction focusing on literacy and school readiness. We purchased these backpacks for all of our students to use at home with their families as an extension to the strategies learned in the classrooms. Both the parent children were excited to receive this additional support to continue the learning at home.

This product is perfect for multiple ages, you can use the items to teach at different learning levels. Basic concepts including adding, sorting, patterns and so much more. The resources included are very helpful for children and provide directions for parents to support traditional family engagement at home, helping parents be the teacher.
