My students LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these! The magnets are just plain fun to play with to begin with plus the pictures they make are awesome! You can use the magnet squares for lots of math activities as well (sorting, patterning, graphing, etc.) The magnetic squares are made from really thick and sturdy foam with a magnet attached to it, not the thin bendy magnet pieces that often come with magnetic boards so they are a lot more durable and a lot harder to lose. This is such a fun way for students to practice differentiating letters and learning their letter sounds that they don't even realize they are learning. Perfect!
