Good activity for reinforcement

Very engaging for hands on learners, some of the letters are a little difficult for students and require some critical thinking because of the way the pieces need to underlap or overlap. A great activity to build dexterity and critical thinking skills while reinforcing letter recognition. However, it is not the best manipulative to generalize writing letters-unless I haven't come up with the ideas yet.

The individual cards are very useful to my preK students. Other letter construction kits come with a leaflet which shows the shape or how to make the letter which tend to be ignored. The shapes are basic and snap together easily.

Nice product

This is a fun and engaging way for students to practice letter recognition for capital letters. I wish they came in lower-case letters. I purchased two sets so there would be enough for a small group of 6 students to use at the same time. I separate the materials into 3 boxes, and there are enough of each shape for each pair to make any of the letters they have cards for.
