You get A LOT for the price! Easily washable, kept little sensory bin hands entertained, along with hiding them in the sand and/or water. Highly recommend, as you can find multiple uses for them for multiple projects at once.

Perfect for Search and Find Bins

These stars are perfect for Search and Find bins. We have a number of children with food allergies and sensitivities, so we cannot use rice or beans for our Search and Find bins. These stars are the solution! Now we can hide items for our preschoolers to discover, without worry of allergies. I really like that the stars are washable, too. We toss them in a mesh bag and run them through the dishwasher. Easy to keep clean!

Great for my 14 month old grand daughter. She loves the noise they make when she’s playing.

These sensory stars have been a hit with our toddler (16 months old when first introduced). She likes trying to stack them, filling up cups with them, sweeping them off the table and into a bin, and I think these would be great for lacing too, though we haven't tried that yet. They are somewhat loud with they hit hard surfaces such as a bin or tabletop (particularly compared to the soft green balls), but that is pretty much the only negative thing I have to say about them.

Perfect for young toddlers

This makes life so easy! I do not have to worry about chocking hazards but all ages love this filler. Easy to clean up and lots of fun

Perfect for toddler sensory table

I love this product because it allows me to use it in my toddler classroom. Kids find them amazing and can’t take their little hands off of them.

Good sensory tool

Not sure it's worth how much I paid for it but they are really durable, fun sensory items that are safe for even young toddler, so I like that! They do seem really well madea hard, thick plastic. I love how I can clean it, the weight and texture of the stars, the versatility of what you can do with them, and that they’re indoor/outdoor friendly. They can still get everywhere like all sensory items, but a bit easier to pick up than balls, beans, rice, or sand!

These are perfect!

I am so so SO happy I bought these for my son (18 months). In the past I've used lentil beans, kinetic sand, and large beads for his sensory bins but these are his favorite and the safest, most kid-friendly option. Not to mention these are the easiest to clean up with they inevitably fly out of the bin (not true with kinetic sand-omg!). He loves the sound they make against the plastic tub (warning: they are kinda loud) and they are easy for him to pick up and investigate further in his hand. We're going to try the activity suggestions that come with the bag (ie. stringing them on pipe cleaners), but he was super happy just sitting in a bin with them with a couple of plastic scoops and an empty ice cube tray (which we filled and then he dumped out). I may buy another bag!

Sensory Fun for Autism

I am a behavior consultant and these stars are a dream. One bag was enough but I would buy two as I used them with one client as an option to a ball pit. Some of my clients- who prefer rice or small things, did not seem to take to them right off, but all my others who like the sensory feeling of things falling out of their hands, or spilling toys on the floor= LOVED it!! While these are too big to pose a chocking hazard, I would still be watchful. They arent too heavy and it comes with a paper explaining various ways to play with the stars. I think they are perfect for kids who dont play with toys in a typical way as there is no wrong way to play with these and so MANY ways to show a kid how to enjoy the them.
