Great threading toy as the thread is sturdy and not flimsy like yarn. My toddler doesn’t lose interest because it’s not too hard to do. Great starter toy for building gross motor skills!

Nice quality, but not engaging for my family. Maybe more interesting with a longer string to bead on.

These are cute and the kids like them. I do wish there was a stop/cap or something at an end. It does frustrate some of the kids because they fall off, especially the younger ones like two year olds. I do also wish the balls were not so hard as well. I have to keep these up because otherwise the kids start to throw them and with them being so hard it’s dangerous. Over all great though, those are just some of the problems that came up in my group of kids. I would buy them again still.

Perfect for toddlers

I bought this for my grandson who is 19 months old whoever designed it did a perfect job for little hands. The beads are exactly the right size and the plastic lacing material is pliable but stiff enough for little hands to handle without having them flop like a regular lacing string. As an early childhood educator this is definitely something that I think all toddlers should have experience with. I highly recommend this learning tool.Thanks Lakeshore!

My son started playing with these at 19 months. My husband picked them out for his Christmas gift. I was skeptical that he could do this. He started playing and quickly learned how to string them on. I love that they make the "plastic lacing strings" durable and able to be connected. I connected all of the "strings" and it doesn't fall off the ends as easily. When my son is finished, I connect both sides and he proudly shows us his bead necklace. I love this Lakeshore!!
