I use this great little toy for diaper changes and during other non-preferred activities. It's a great way to keep my toddler's mind off the non-desired task. He enjoys moving the animals between their homes and their labeled pockets and even practices reading (identifying the first letter on the pockets to find their spot). The slits in all the homes are pretty small, however, and he does find it frustrating to try to put the animals in their homes without me holding the slit open for him.

Learning about habitats while developing fine motor skills makes this book a wonderful item to give as a gift. Child can use it at church, restaurant or in car. Glad there’s a zipper so the little pieces don’t get lost. Love this!!

Twin granddaughters love to manhandle the book and at 9 months everything goes into their mouth. Glad it is washable.

This toy is so cute and it's sturdily made. As long as you can keep track of all the animals, you'll be able to use for your kiddos and hand it down to cousins! It's tough enough to go through the washer. It's a great quiet time activity and the handles are perfect for on-the-go fun

Helps with many readiness skills Fine motor development opening and closing zipper as well as placing the animals in their home or in storage pockets Teaches the children animal names as well as their habitat. Beginning science skills are being developed when using the word habitat.

My 15 month old loves to play with the animals and learn about their habitats! Very fun toy.

My 18 month old Grandson loves playing with this book - he says the name of each animal or the sound it makes as he puts it in the appropriate spot. This book is very well made and stands up to his rough style of play.

My kiddos loves these animals and the pockets. The habitats are a great place to start a little one babbling! Toy is very durable, but you have to keep an eye on the figures so they don’t get lost

My toddler LOVED this book so much! Kept her busy every where we went. Just got for her cousin who is 12 months and also loves this book!

Got this to keep in the car for short and long car rides to help keep the little ones occupied. Quality of materials is excellent, everything we've gotten from Lakeshore has been amazing. Would def purchase again or as a gift.

My kids love this interactive book and are very proud once they complete it. Great product!

This has been a kid favorite with my toddlers. They like to explore the book and then begin to catch onto how to match the animals with their home. They also like to use the items for pretend play beyond the pages of the book.
