I teach preschool in Arizona and we have lots of hot days where we need to limit outdoor play time due to heat advisories. The hopscotch carpet offers the children a chance to get out some of their energy and work on some of their gross motor skills of hopping and balance. It is really good for children that have ADHD. I also use this during summer camp and put it in the hallway for other classes to use while they are waiting in line for the cafeteria. The big kids look forward to it when the see that it is out in the hall.

Nice size. Small enough older kids really have to pay attention/balance to not touch the lines. Everyone is excited to see this come out. Would be nice if they included a few more bean bags. If you have a large group you’ll need more than the two included.

I used to love hopscotch as a child. I bought it so I can play it with my 4 year old when it is too hot or rainy to go outside (pretty much almost always the case in Florida).

Bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter. She loves it! The mat is beautiful, colorful and very sturdy. It has become the hallway carpet outside of her bedroom so she hops through it multiple times a day. A great buy that will last a very long time.

My 3 kids absolutely love this. We bring it out when its a rainy day and it keeps them busy for hours.

This is a great tool to have when you are limited on space in the classroom. It’s great for teaching children about taking turns, following directions, and to get out excess energy in a safe way in the classroom. Easy to clean
