My students love this activity. It's engaging while getting practicing sight words.

I have been using this in my classroom for years. It still looks new! The kids love using this. I purchased and extra fishing pole so when two kids play, they each get their own pole.

Don't underestimate the power of a magnetic plastic fishing rod in making the reading of high-frequency words engaging. We now have two sets and my 6-year old will choose this from our bookshelf of games regularly.

My kids love to find the corresponding fish and add it a sight word mat we did with markers.

When I was a classroom teacher, I would spend hours making these by hand for my classroom - the die cut fish, laminated with a paper clip, then a makeshift fishing pole made out of rule with string and a magnet. WOW how I would have loved to just buy this! My daughter loves it, and it helps review sight words at home.

I use this in centers and the students love it!

The pole is tiny, the board is tiny, and even though the fish are tiny, they don't all fit in the pond. My son loves it (although he is just learning his letters) but I don't think I will be able to use it as a shared center activity in my kindergarten classroom as I intended.

My kiddos love playing this together and dont even know they are learning :)

I've used this Fishing for Sight Words game for several years now. My Kindergarten students love the fishing poles and catching sight words. I appreciate that there is a list of all the sight words included and multiple fish with the same words.

This sight word fishing game is a great way to review sight words, as well as be exposed to new words. Plus, my kindergartner loves it!
