Will you win the surfing championship—or wipe out? It all depends on how well you know your vocabulary! In this skill-building reading game, players surf across the game board by completing sentences with the correct vocabulary words. Each correct answer gets them closer to the big finish…but broken boards and treacherous rocks may send them paddling back out! You get an 18" x 18" game board, 50 vocabulary cards, 4 pawns, 1 spinner and an answer card. For 2-4 players.

Great For Small Groups or Stations

This is a great way to review vocabulary skills. It's good for small groups or stations. I like to use it with my RTI groups.

A good center choice!

I teach 4th graders, and I offered this game as a center choice for ELA. While I wouldn't use it all the time, my students really enjoyed it and I felt it gave some subtle review and test prep while still feeling fun and engaging. I would recommend!

fun and easy

Kids really love these hands-on games to review and practice skills. It is better than a worksheet, and kids are motivated to play. Easy to use as centers.
