Second grade students like the challenge of this game....reading the card, coming up with an answer and then getting to be the teacher by checking the answer card.
Yes, I would recommend this product.

I am a Speech Language Pathologist and I bought this game to help my students work on making predictions and inferences. I haven't gotten to play it yet, but I think my students will love it. It is a straight-forward game that will be easy to complete in our 30-minute sessions. I also like the skateboard theme, as I think it will appeal to all of my students. I plan on getting some cheap plastic finger skateboards to use as the player markers...just to increase the fun! Also, Lakeshore's customer service is amazing. I lost my e-mail that had my receipt. I called the customer service line and a real person answered on the first ring! Within 4 minutes she emailed me another receipt. So helpful!
