This game is great for students learning their sight words. It’s a fun and easy way to reinforce skills at home or in school.

Pro: the word tiles the game has are repeated enough times to practice, my daughter loves playing it, it is a type of game so other skills are learned as well at least in my point of view, taking turns to swipe, learning it's okay to not always win, cheer for the winner (these are things we practice in all board games we play) Con: I wished the list of words were shown outside the box, my daughter (she had just turned 4) already knew 95% of these words, the number of tiles is NOT the number of sight words, I believe it's somewhere between 20-25 sight words in total, that was not clear on the box and I couldn't find any reviews sharing that information

My son loves Zingo! Sight word zingo was a little too advanced when we purchased it but it is perfect now!

This product is great for helping students identify those all important sight words. As a Kindergarten teacher, sight words are very important in helping students to become excellent, fluent readers.

My youngest who is still learning to read enjoys this game in our homeschool. I try not to pull it out too often so he doesn't get bored with it and he always asks to play one more game. Each sight word is represented by more than one tile, which gives more than one player an opportunity to mark any particular sight word. The only downside is that while there are a large number of tiles, there is not a large number of sight words.
