Someone had posted in their review that the shelf holds 26-28 2 inch binders....which is wrong. If I could go back I would have gotten the three-layered shelf, as it only holds 16 2-inch binders. But that's my mistake, and I have made it work for my 21 students. Solid shelf--I've had lots of compliments on it and it is perfect for what I need!

I just love my new notebook binder stand. We cook A LOT and have piles and folders and boxes of recipes. Now we can organize them all! Love it. So very sturdy too. It holds 15 1-inch binders on each shelf, more of course with 1/2 binders. Worth every penny.
