Great first addition/subtraction software title!

June 12, 2013 - By BKTeacherfrom Carson CA

My child played this at the store and fell in love with it! His favorite game is the Drive-Through Diner game. I really like that it has four games, each one with two different levels. I was previously using workbooks, flash cards and counting units to practice lower level addition/subtraction but it was becoming tedious and uninteresting. With this, I don't even have to say anything about math! It's my child that begs me to use the computer to play the games (pratice math!!)!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Engaging!

January 03, 2013 - By Mom2nickemmafrom Sarasota, Florida

My students would play this instead of going to recess. I let them "play," during centers and I also offer it as a reward. It works like a charm and the students scores in math concepts reflect their love of these programs. I have many of the Lakshore programs. I love them all. I am excited to see some new ones for 2013! There are pre- and post assessments for easy data collection!!!!

Fun way to introduce math!

February 06, 2012 - By mishmoshfrom North Brunswick, NJ

My son is 3.5 and just starting learning math operations. He was not interested when using counters but when I downloaded this software he immediately became interested and was using his fingers to count and subtract the images on the screen. He sits and actually concentrates on his own how to solve the math problems and gets most of then correct. So happy Lakeshore is making learning fun.
