This kitchen set has been in almost constant use since we added it to the children's section of our library. Every one loves it and some of the children even bring treats they have created to me in my office! A fabulous addition to our library's play area.

I originally purchased this for my center but ended up using for my smaller program. the children absolutely adore this product. I would definitely recommend.

I have had this set in my kindergarten classroom for over 10 years. It still looks beautiful. Each year I have had 20+ kids in the room taking turns playing with it. Every once in a while you will have to tighten the screws to the handles, but it takes two seconds. If you are on the fence about spending that much, do it. It has stood the test of time and 5 year olds in my opinion. If you can get the school to buy, even better!

Beautifully made kitchen set purchased for grandchildren. Easy to assemble, well packaged. Refrigerator door front had some scratches in paint. Company offered to replace door, then called to say they couldn't to that, offered to replace whole refrigerator, but I wasn't willing to repackage old refrigerator to send back (although they offered to pick it up for free). Hoping the set will last many many year of fulfilled playtime for grandchildren. Highly recommended.

We have the stove, sink, and fridge. My 20-month old son loves them, and they are very durable and easy to set up. They look nice in our kitchen and give him something to do while mommy is cooking. There is LOTS of storage for all his play food. Other sets do not offer all this storage, and we have lots of play food. He has climbed on the open oven door more than once and it has not broken. However, the hutch is not up to par with the other pieces. We saw it at the local store, but did not get it because the microwave doesn't do anything. It's just a wood shell. My son and I were both unimpressed. We bought a cheapo plastic microwave from another store that beeps, has buttons, lights up, and has a working turntable inside, and my son loves it. It would be great if Lakeshore offered a different 4th matching piece in this set -- perhaps a hutch-type piece sans microwave that included counter space to put other kitchen electrics on -- like the blender, mixer, and coffeepot that they sell. This set lacks space for any of these things.

My preschoolers enjoy this kitchen set where they can play together but at the same time separately. While one is washing dishes the other one is cooking or putting away the groceries. No more pushing! LOVE IT!
