4yo and 7yo have enjoyed playing with it. It really does make a funnel. Simple, but neat in that it can hold real water. Don't forget to prepare 2 AA batteries for it.

Great Christmas gift! Only complaint is the lid doesn't stay on well which can be frustrating for kids.

I got the blender for my 19 month old grandson, who loves to play in his kitchen. It was an instant hit, and he puts different combinations of cloth fruits and vegetables in there to blend. He uses it exactly as his dad uses his blender. As others have noted, the top doesn't stay on; it ought to be redesigned to have a tighter fit. But overall a great toy.
