My preschool grandchildren love this. It is a good quality, easy for imaginative play and a good addition to our toy collection. They go straight to it when they arrive!

We got this toy (in combination with the rover) for our 3.5 and 5.5. year old boys who have been obsessed with space. They have actively been playing with them since then, incorporating them with other toys and coming up with new ways to explore space and travel to their favorite planet (it's Saturn, btw). The toys are extremely durable, extremely cute and detailed, and perfect for their little hands. Finally, are boys are biracial, so seeing astronauts with different types of skin color is such a breath of fresh air.

I was very surprised that this was such a hit because the child I gave it to you as a gift has so many fancy high tech toys with bells and whistles electronic effects and they go to so many interactive places - but I bought it because of all the great reviews and they were correct! Simple imagination wins the day.

This is a hit with both boys and girls. We've had it over a year and it is still one of our most played with toys.

I bought this for my one grandson, who is 4 years old, and bought the rover for his brother, and they both loved playing with the space explorer toys. Lakeshore toys help children use their imaginations to play. These toys were a huge hit, and they could not stop playing with them.

I don’t know why, but this rocket had captured my son’s attention for hours at a clip. I was concerned it would be too basic for him, even though he’s only 3.5 and the age range is 3-7, but maybe because it’s designed by educators, it has led to hours of imaginative play. I’m getting him the rover to expand the activity.

Have ordered twice for two grandsons when they were 2 or 3 yrs old. Played with for years now. Matching Rover too. Nice that the boys can have little figures to play with.

This is made of sturdy plastic that is also easy to wipe clean. This toy allows for creative play with the rocket ship, the car, and the 2 astronauts that are included. One of our favorite toys!
