We purchased this cabinet to store my daughter's homeschool supplies in and it works wonderful. Even though we didn't need it to be childproof, it's a nice added bonus if we have any little ones over to visit. It's well made and very spacious. I wasn't sure what to expect since there were no reviews, but I'm happy that we took the chance on this item. It also has hooks/wires attached to the back if you need to mound it to the wall for safety. This thing is solid and will no doubt last for years.
