If you are looking for comfort and maximum durability, these chairs are perfect. I bought furniture from here and other popular library furniture stores, and these wound up being far superior. These chairs are heavy enough that they don't topple easily, but are light enough that you can move them around by yourself to try different layouts. There is a significant amount of padding, making these arguably the most comfortable chairs in my library. The material is also hardcore; other library furniture I purchased the same year as these has already developed wear and tear, such as the material getting scraped and scuffed. The material on these? Thick but comfortable for skin contact (no worries about your thighs getting stuck), very easy to clean, and so durable that they have not sustained any damage (despite the efforts of many, many tweens). I was wringing my hands wondering what furniture would be the best buy for my school library, and these have been the best purchase I've made by far. If you're needing a safe buy for your library, these are perfect. Frankly, if I ever need furniture for my own home, these will be on my list. Lakeshore, you've made an incredible product.
