When looking for an alphabet to hang on our classroom wall, I like it to have pictures that show the short vowel sounds not the long vowel sound. This offers a nice tool for students to check the short vowel sounds. I teach them that for the long vowel sound, the vowel says it's name and they can find the short vowel sound by checking our alphabet. The one thing I would change about this is having each letter on it's own card. I put mine up, but am going to take it down and cut them out, so I can have more spacing to fit more word wall words underneath.

These cards are well made and perfect for teaching letters and words. I laminated for extra sturdiness.

This set is a great size. Each individual card is not too large or too small. Perfect to fit above or on a focus wall.
