I purchase a pack of these every year. They are perfect to fit into my calendar pockets and are an easy way to keep track of the birthdays for the month. At the beginning of the year, I sit down and write each student's name on a cake, then add their birth month and date. I put all of the cakes in order chronologically, and then I am ready to go. As I switch out the calendar pieces at the beginning of each month, I add the birthday cakes. Easy peasy and no more forgotten birthdays.

I use this accent every year to display each students birthday on our classroom calendar. I write their name on the birthday cake then place it in the calendar pocket chart. The students love being able to countdown to each birthday!
