Once you learn how to use it it really works great as a beginner telescope.

Got it for my niece and nephew and they absolutely love it!

We usually are pleased with Lakeshore products, but this telescope is a serious disappointment. Look carefully at the product dimensions as it is very small, and will need to be used on a table outside to effectively see anything. It is wobbly, and the lack of a small scope that most telescopes have make it very difficult to find and stay focused on anything in the sky. The image quality is not great, and most of the telescope are cheap plastic parts. If you are looking for a functional telescope, this is not it. If you are looking for just a toy, this is too much money for something not very functional.

This was absolutely horrible. Neither my husband or ai were able to see anything through this. It is going back to the store.

My kid loves stars and everything else in space. We thought this would make the perfect birthday gift but we’ve only used it a couple of times. Going to get more use out of it as he grows.

This is advertised for children but even the adults in this family found it impossible to use properly. The tripod is so unsteady and the telescope itself is so difficult to keep in place that when we found an object in the sky (even the moon), we couldn't keep the instrument focused on it. The lenses do their job but the framework is junk.

A fun, easy way to star gaze with your kids

It’s a little tricky to get the hang of. It definitely needs a grown up to help but once you get it focused, it offers a nice view of the moon.

Really disappointed. Bought this for our 7 year old for her birthday. We've tried multiple times to look at stars with no luck. We live out of city limits with a sky full of stars and still nothing. No instructions to troubleshoot either. My daughter is pretty disappointed and sadly I am too.

Doesnt work at all. Followed instructions...husband messed around with it for a few nights...either we got a defective telescope or we got scammed. We removed all the caps and assembled as directed ...doesnt work at all ! My daughter ended up crying about it too which was extremely frustrating. Looking for a new telescope... Ive never been this upset over a fricking toy but this product really disappointed us BIG time.
