These were on sale so I decided to purchase these for my water table. The kids love them!

Fish is weighted so there is little frustration trying to use the magnets for small kids. Even ages 5/7 were interested in playing. Will be using these for outdoor play for the summer..use to learn about magnets, colors and counting.

I bought these for my grandchildren. The magnets in the fishing poles are very weak, and the kids struggle to get the fish to attach, and stay attached. Everything is well made and sturdy, but the magnets are too weak. Very disappointing.

My 18 month old loves to play with these fish and fishing rod in and out of the tub. He does need some help getting the magnet to work, especially outside of the tub. However, I think that makes this toy have longevity since it is somewhat challenging and requires fine motor skills to catch the fish. Even my older child likes to play with the toddler, and it has grown his vocabulary naming the fish and parts of the fishing rod. This toy is high quality, able to withstand water and rough handling from a toddler.

The fish are easier to stick in water as intended. I tried to place the fish in different content but magnet wouldn’t work as good as it did in water.

Didn’t occur to me that our bathtub is metal under the surface; toddler often gets the rod stuck to the side. She still loves playing with the fish in other ways! Looking forward to using these with the water table this summer! Excellent quality, many opportunities for teaching (colors, counting, shape sorting..). I do think it would be fun to reel the fish in but I understand that would potentially come with greater likelihood to break.

My daycare kids are loving this product. They are having so much fun. I would definitely recommend this product. Especially when its offered for 1/2 price.

Bought this for my youngest grandchildren to use in a wading pool during summer, but brought it out recently for use in the tub. It was a hit with the four-year-old, and also with me because the magnets work so well. The fact that the fish float upright, like they are actually swimming, and still get hooked pretty easily by the magnets on the end of the line, is really rewarding for the kids. Wish I had this set years ago when I was teaching Pre-K!

Kids have so much fun fishing for letters, they don’t even realize they’re learning. This product is well made and will last a long time!
