The fish are easier to stick in water as intended. I tried to place the fish in different content but magnet wouldn’t work as good as it did in water.

Didn’t occur to me that our bathtub is metal under the surface; toddler often gets the rod stuck to the side. She still loves playing with the fish in other ways! Looking forward to using these with the water table this summer! Excellent quality, many opportunities for teaching (colors, counting, shape sorting..). I do think it would be fun to reel the fish in but I understand that would potentially come with greater likelihood to break.

My daycare kids are loving this product. They are having so much fun. I would definitely recommend this product. Especially when its offered for 1/2 price.

Bought this for my youngest grandchildren to use in a wading pool during summer, but brought it out recently for use in the tub. It was a hit with the four-year-old, and also with me because the magnets work so well. The fact that the fish float upright, like they are actually swimming, and still get hooked pretty easily by the magnets on the end of the line, is really rewarding for the kids. Wish I had this set years ago when I was teaching Pre-K!

Kids have so much fun fishing for letters, they don’t even realize they’re learning. This product is well made and will last a long time!

I originally purchased it to play with on the ground. It does not work outside of water! And it didnt work well in my bath, since the magnet on the fishing rod kept getting stuck to the tub, but once I put it in a plastic bucket it was great! The magnet on the fishing rod is very strong, making it easy to catch the fish, that all float nose up.

I bought this magnetic fishing set for my grandson, and he absolutely loves it. It came with four fishing poles and 18 fish so more than one person could play with them at one time. My grandson is a toddler, and the fish were big enough that he could not swallow them. and they were easy for him to handle. He has used them in the bathtub, his activity table and a pail. We had hours of fun with them.

My students love to play with this fishing toy.

The toy works on reaction time and being able to anticipate action reflexes. Xmas Present for my nephew and you just know kids will like this game.

the magnet in the hook of the fishing rod attaches with a strong grip to the bathtub. A strong pull off the tub sends the hook flying thru the air. Unfortunately the magnet in the fish attaches with a weak grip making it very hard to pull a fish out of the water and you must find the perfect spot on the nose of the fish. Not easy.
