My son loves his barber kit-good quality and encourages pretend play.

A nice little kit for pretend play. The only downside is the clipper guard is hard to put on and they can be easily misplaced. Same goes for the lids on the lotions--tend to get misplaced. I would make the lotions one piece, as well as the clipper and guard. Overall though, a good little kit.

It's great quality and the kids love the vibrating and whirling pieces. My grandson loves to imitate his dad and give haircuts and shaves to everyone. Everything fits nicely into the case, making clean up easy.

My son loves his shaving kit! He gives pretend haircuts to his brothers and parents. He loves having his hair cut, so now he can do it too.

Just got My First Shaving Kit for my kids after my 5-year-old son begged me repeatedly. All three of my kids haven’t stopped playing with it all week! They love pretending to give haircuts to each other, and it is so cute to see them all playing together. Planning to get My First Styling Kit for my daughter’s birthday as well so they will have both. A great toy!!

Good quality and great for imaginative play.

My 4 year old got this for Christmas and has played with it nonstop since. He loves pretending to give everyone a haircut, including the dog and says it was his favorite present!

This is a good kit for boys to learn the process of shaving and other daily grooming.

Our 5 and a half year old grandson asked for this after seeing it in the Lakeshore Christmas catalog. I ordered it and paid for expedited shipping to have it arrive by Christmas. It arrived on time and in time. When I explored the kit more deeply on line I was concerned that it was manually and not battery driven, thinking he would be expecting something more automated. Not so! He loves it just the way it is and has been excited to use it on anyone available several times each day since he opened it! His excitement when he unwrapped his gift was wonderful to see. Kudos to his dad, too, who found the recliner and fully engaged in acting out the barbershop scene, setting the stage for lots of fun all day with multiple family members.

Like most lakeshore products, this is sturdy and made of quality material. My son loves it. The blow dryer and shaver have moving parts which make it realistic. Fun toy for playing barber shop with his sister.
