Great kit to practice fine motor skills for little ones! Cute cutting board and play knife.

Before I got this item, my almost 3 yo grand daughter was trying to cut her other play food items with a play dinner fork and said: cut, cut! which of course did not do the job. Now, she can actually cut them with the bigger play butcher knife and see them break apart thanks to the genius magnet mechanism holding each pieces together before the cutting action.

Great for motor skills. My kids loved playing with these and pretend play for a while. They enjoyed cutting them in half and then putting them togetehr. great eye coordination.

though some foods are hard for little hands to hold and cut, grapes and strawberry, these are durable and hard plastic so biting and chewing are not a problem. My daughter loves to chop her new food. the cutting board is kinda useless as the food slides off when trying to hold and cut the food. The knife provided is a lot thicker then the gap between the food making it very difficult for her to cut so we just assist and use a different play knife. Even though it has some issues my daughter still loves this product

Food is a light weight plastic but still seems durable like it will last a long time.

I own this set for 5 years now. The Velcros are all still in place. Everything work well. Both my kids enjoyed cutting the vegetables and fruits over and over and over. They are easy to clean too. That was a good investment.
