It's a great tool to use when children are expressing their feelings.

My grandson is on the spectrum and sometimes has a difficult time dealing with certain feelings. Rather than get upset and frustrated, he uses these cubes to help himself calm down. They really seem to help.

became overwhelming and my 4 year old became disinterested in them. used them to build a tower instead of the initial purpose but at least he had fun doing so!

My daughter (3 y/o) uses these quite often! They are perfect for our relaxation corner in her room. When she feels big Emotions and needs time to process, she uses these and self-soothes. They are a cute way for her to get distracted and relax. Probably one of my favorite items I've bought from Lakeshore! Highly recommend

I purchased these for my cozy area and plan to introduce them soon. I think these will be helpful in giving children things they can do when they need help calming down.

I use this with my two boys for our honeschool environment, as it's still essential to teach social emotional skills. This goes perfect with the calming corner and I like that the options are tangible and realistic to do.

I haven't introduced these to my class yet but I plan to do that next week. I am going to use them in conjunction with the Fill a Bucket story telling kit. They are a good size and i like that they have a picture and the words on them. I am going to keep them in my calm down corner for when I need to help a student get through some big feelings.

Ordered these for the calm down spot in my preschool classroom. Cubes appear to be durable and they have good visuals to accompany the words. Students that I have used the cubes with like using them to help calm themselves down.

Ok, so I might have to order a second set of these so that I can have a set at my house and one at my daughter's house. I ordered them for my daughter to use with my granddaughter. When they arrived, I showed them to my grandchild and she was able to quickly determine by the pictures what the activity was. We talked about how we would use them if she needed some help in dealing with difficult situations. She was all for that! These are pretty cool!

I use them for a 5 year old in my classroom who has a hard time calming down. These blocks have helped the child so much. I put them in a bin and shake it up and the child close their eyes and picks one and it works wonders. After the activity is done then we talk about what got the child so upset.
