Every tiny piece comes individually wrapped in thick plastic, such an unnecessary waste. Activity is good, but would not purchase again due to packaging.

I have an older version of this kit and loved it. The kids love the hands on materials and the cues to sort. If you are working with older kids who understand these concepts, these kits will be great. I have no complaints about the size and goes together kit. I did not like the category sorting - Ocean and Beach are too similar to teach these categories / concepts. Also I wish the breakfast sorting had all food/drinks and didn't include the fork. Might just be me being picky but all of my lakeshore items ordered (about $200) had something a little off that will require me to adapt the materials myself (make new sorting boards) to teach these concepts to preschoolers with delays.

As a former preschool administrator, and now a grandmother, I can't say enough about these 3 wonderful activities. The manipulatives are of superior quality, and the activities prompt outstanding language activities with your child. I bought these for my grandchild for entertainment during the quarantine, and she can't play with them enough. Every day, she asks her mom which box they can do today? They are the perfect toy!
