Jim Panzee the chimpanzee is in a terrible mood for no good reason! His friends don’t understand it—how can he be in a bad mood on such a beautiful day? They have lots of suggestions for how to feel better, but Jim can’t take all their advice…and has a bit of a meltdown. This amusing picture book teaches a valuable lesson on emotional literacy, demonstrating that people should be allowed to feel their feelings—being careful not to hurt others in the process. Hardcover book by Suzanne Lang is 32 pages.

This is a cute book and I like how it talks about grumpiness and that we don't just need to cheer up right away.

Great Story for Emotions

I just loved reading this book to my class. We talked about how the monkey was grumpy, and about how we get grumpy. It was a really cute book with great illustrations. And the kids could relate to it really well.
