The figurines are made of good quality material, they are sturdy, the features are very detailed with good facial expressions. Unfortunatelly they scratch easily and some of them lack balance when you stand them.

I liked that the family was large and included the grandparents. I did not like that the grandparents are depicted as so elderly. Given no other option I still purchased the item.

This family set can be used with the block area or through conversation about family structure. My childcare has had many discussion regarding family through these pieces, thankful for the purchase!
