I bought these many years ago for play in the block center in my kindergarten classroom. A large variety of figures that students can mix and match to create families, large and small. Large variety of ethnicities and ages for many hours of play. The figures are sturdy and stand well. The paint does chip or rub off with use, but overall hold up very well.

Great quality and will hold up for many years. Had these in a previous classroom and they were used for 5+ years, some paint had worn off but still a great way to represent many cultures.

These are incredible. I got them for my Hime Daycare and they are a toy that gets played with daily. The details amazing and the way that each culture is portrayed is perfect!! Highly recommend

These are sturdy figures that stand the test of some time (eventually the paint does chip and wear with classroom use). However, it is disappointing that you need to pay $160 to represent diverse races. (And, then another set to have any representation of disabilities at all because this set has none.) Why is every family only one race? I would LOVE to see an option to buy half the amount of figures, for half the price, but that still includes all he races represented here, and some figures of diverse abilities. These have been the stand-by play people for YEARS and it's time to advance to into the 2020's with your representation Lakeshore!!!!!

My kids love playing with this block family so much! We play with these every day along with our wooden blocks. As an interracial couple and family, we loved that this set had so many families represented and celebrated diversity. Thank you Lakeshore for making such a great and important learning toy!!
