Great quality and will hold up for many years. Had these in a previous classroom and they were used for 5+ years, some paint had worn off but still a great way to represent many cultures.

A must-have for the classroom! After years of use, we replaced our old one with this set. Durable and easy to clean. And so many ways to use them- in dramatic play, blocks, to act out stories. Great addition to a speech/language pathologist's materials!

The block people are PERFECT for pretend play with ALL types of building sets...they'll go wherever your/your child’s imagination takes you. Everything is exactly as pictured and are more detailed than I first thought. Lakeshore personnel have always been super helpful, supportive AND they stand behind their products. When it comes to preschoolers and learning tools, I go to Lakesgore FIRST! Never had to go anywhere else...

I have bought two of these sets, one for where I work and one for my personal therapy practice. They are not made from the top-quality vinyl the ad claims, the paint chips off the figures EASILY with them just being in a box. Even if the figures slightly rub against each other the paint comes off. Also, the Hispanic family mom in my first set had poor molding on the feet and so she could not stand on her own. This is particularily upsetting to small Kindergarten children who become frustrated and preoccupied with trying to get the figure to stand during a session. Overall quality control could be a LOT better for the price.
