I bought this set for my granddaughter, age 7. It 'closely' matches her familial group makeup. I would however, like to see the individual dolls (of all family groups) made available for singular purchase. In our modern society, there are familial groups that are mixed racially and this option would allow customers to tailor their purchases to align with that diversity. I would be reluctant to buy EVERY complete family group just to pick out one or two individual dolls to add to a mixed/ diverse family dynamic.

These people are so durable. My 4 year old autistic son, is very rough with toys, but these hold up so well.

This family stands up really well, which is nice for playing in the dollhouse. However, they don't bend at all. And the characters seem very dated. But overall, they work for the kids to play with.

Love these dolls! And I noticed when opening them that one was chopped and Lakeshore was amazing and replaced it right away! So happy with them!! Thank you!
