These people are so durable. My 4 year old autistic son, is very rough with toys, but these hold up so well.

This family stands up really well, which is nice for playing in the dollhouse. However, they don't bend at all. And the characters seem very dated. But overall, they work for the kids to play with.

Love these dolls! And I noticed when opening them that one was chopped and Lakeshore was amazing and replaced it right away! So happy with them!! Thank you!

I am impressed by all of Lakeshore Block Play families. Note that each family has two grandparents, a mother and father, two kids, a toddler, and a baby. But in each family, the mix is uniquely different, making The Block a truly diverse neighborhood. A lucky kid has the whole set: Caucasian, African, Asian, Hispanic, and Native American. An even luckier kid has that AND Lakeshore's set of kids from around the world.

The Caucasian Family group is perfect for imaginative play but could use an update. These are figures from the 'forties. Also, the grandma figure could easily be mistaken for a man.
