I ordered this ice cream set to help with fine motor skills and counting in my kindergarten class. The numbers on the set are also beneficial for number recognition. I encourage students to count as they scoop the ice cream onto the dish. My class loves this activity!

This item was very sought after with my special education kindergarten students. However, the one downfall was the size of the little foam ice cream balls. If the scoop and ice cream were a little larger, it would make it easier for smaller hands.

These are great for fine motor practice, counting, and could even be used for adding. My class loves them and the scoopers are fun nice because they are different from tweezers.
