These are pricy so get them on a BOGO 1/2 sale. They are high quality, good and substantial in size, and have enough to use for an upper/lower case match plus extra lower case ones. I plan to use them at the beginning of the year in kindergarten as an upper/lower case match, then I will pull out the upper case and use them to build CVC words.

I ordered these beads for use in my preschool classroom with ages 3-5 and they did not disappoint. The beads and the laces are colorful and well made for long term use by little hands. I have used them for letter identification, matching upper and lowercase letters, and practice making their name as well as spelling words from looking at word cards to go with our themes of study. I love that the bucket comes with both upper and lowercase letters.
