Seemed awesome for the first few weeks (when most people write the reviews) but after more use, the ends of the pipes start to break off. We have had to toss at least of quarter of them.

My boys bought four sets of these to make a planetarium in our basement. They are sturdy and strong. There have been a couple of sticks that have broken where they attach to the balls, but I guess that is to be expected over time. The boys have made many more things besides a planetarium with these. They provide great fort building foundations.

We purchased two sets, to see if we could expand the fort sizes for two children--and they made it work? They had fun setting up movie nights inside their forts, which was hilarious for the rest of the family to hear from the outside.

We have owned this set for about 4 years and we only have 20 usable poles left. The way the set is designed it is not for independent play for young kids as the photos show. The connecting balls can have to be in an exact direction in exact holes for creations to be made, otherwise the ends of the poles snap. It’s great in theory but only for older kids who understand geometry.

Our kids LOVE the Ultimate Fort Builder! We started out with one kit but quickly went back for a second one. We have built so many configurations and these sets have lasted for years. The absolute best way to build forts.

I bought this for my grandsons, 4 and 5 years old, and they LOVE it! I included a sheet so they could create private forts, and they love to build different shaped forts, cover with the sheet, and play inside. They needed a little help at first, but have learned to do it themselves. It keeps them busy and happy for a long time. Definitely recommend!

I got this for my Niece for her 4th birthday - she LOVES it now at age 5.5, almost 6! She still needs some guidance, but she will pick out a design from the booklet and stay focused on watching me and what I'm doing as we put it together. She's great at taking them down and cleaning them up, too!!! Favorite gift I've bought for her so far, still, I even have a blast! When my sisters and I were kids, we had to build forts out of the kitchen table and chairs. It was a bit more challenging and inventive, I suppose LOL.

I’ve bought this for both sets of my grandkids, and they all LOVE it! It’s such a great toy for creative, imaginative play and keeps them entertained for hours.

This item is so much fun for children 4 to 7. Once my grandkids build their different forts they love to sit inside and play. Helps develop dexterity and spatial awareness.

My kids have been obsessed with these for YEARS! We’ve ended up buying this 3 or 4 times to give them even more supplies for more elaborate builds. I did notice after about 4 years, the glue wears out and the pieces start to break, but BOY did we ever get our money’s worth first! Wildly recommend, I’m here buying another set for my son’s birthday!

We’ve had our Fort Builder for about three months and over half of the blue pieces have come apart. It is still usable but the small blue pieces that fall off are easy to lose. We have really enjoyed either way. I just wish it would have lasted longer. I will attempt gluing the pieces back together and hopefully prolong their use.
