Gift for our 3yo grandson expecting that his 6.5yo sister would enjoy it too. We were absolutely correct - they both love it. Easy to use and drive. Can hold/deliver items, which adds to the fun of making a robot and then driving it. Highly recommend.

I bought this Gear-Bot for my 5 year old grandson and his 7 year old sister. My grandson quickly took over ownership! He immediately began building and rebuilding gear-bots. He is totally engaged and his creativity has no limits.

I purchased this for my 5 year old and he loves to build different robots and drive them around. Sometimes he needs help making the gears work with each other, but most of the time he can build things on his own. Definitely recommend!

Gave this to my grandson for his 7th birthday. He loves it. His dad said he played with it all day long and was so happy. He likes to make his own creations rather than go by the pictures given in the booklet with the toy. I’ve bought him several Lakeshore Learning toys and he always likes to put them together his way.

My boys absolutely love this. We got this in roughly 18 months prior to this review and it's still super popular. The biggest gripe is how man of the connector snaps on the dark blue pieces snap. What started as a couple here and there wasn't a big deal as it has a lot of pieces and those have 6 sides so you're able to work around them. But over time more and more keep breaking to where gears just fall off because you can't snap them into place. At this point I would say we have very few dark blue pieces with 4+ snaps still working. Even so, I still highly recommend, but can't give it 5 stars.

My 5 year old loves this robot and creating silly designs and then driving it around the house. Lot of fun!
